Hi Everyone. It is Sandra here.  I am here with my first post. I love my mixed media and love doing cards that way also. I saw these Digital Butterflies and knew exactly what I wanted to do.
For the background I used a stencil with textured paste and then added glitter over the top. You can never go passed a cute doily which I added next and added some lace and paper flowers.
Now the butterflies. I printed them out onto watercolour paper. I then sprayed a few colours of the same tone and started blending. Working from the darkest to the lightest. I added a different colour to the circles. I then added crystal effects over the butterfly and added Glitter. When that was dry I added crystals in the middle as their bodies. Then made them 3d for only glueing the middle section down so they look like they were flying.
